The Demi Short Video Series: #2 The Tetra-chord is a melodic chord.

Updated: Jan 5

Today I am playing a tetra-chord on each guitar string, riding the Demi Musical Universe to experience the connection of every note to the other.

We recognize that I refer to a series of melodic chords as Tonic Major Tetra-chords connect the circle of fifths in a continuous cycle.

For example:

C-D-E-F

G-A-B-C

D-E-F#-G

A-B-C-D etc.

Starting on a lower string and placing the next one on the next higher string, we see that the structure of all the chords is the same. When running out of strings, move the next one to a lower string and continue through the entire circle.
